"Arrived dead of night weary from travelling - opened windows in the morning and the views and mountain air soon cheered us up. Dom Liz and Sofia soon made us feel really really welcome - always there for you, from arranging doctors appointments to collecting bikes and weary mates from a 180k cycle in the twilight hours - Dom : you are a master of arranging the simplest things in times of need - perhaps a masseur at the top of Hautacam would have been better but Liz's cooking that evening was the perfect 'warm down'. Thanks to you both and I regret to say 'WE'LL BE BACK'"
"We have enjoyed self-catering holidays together for a great number of years. This must rank as one of the best. Standard of accommodation, facilities and equipment are truly superb. It is so peaceful and set in such beautiful surroundings that anyone staying must find it an unforgettable experience. Liz & Dom are wonderful hosts who spare no effort in ensuring their guests enjoy a wonderful stay. They are helpful and cheerful always and we appreciate all they have done for us.

"Came for the Jazz in Marciac and the Tourmalet Cycle Climb. Discovered: the warmest of welcomes; the best of hosts; a view that no website snap could possibly do justice to (from our living room); peace, tranquility and stars in the night sky that you can no longer see in most of the UK; as well as loads of other gems. Will come back for all the above plus - the other Cols I didn't cycle; and most of the Rough Guide 'must sees' because we were too busy 'relaxing' and enjoying the sites nearby."
"Thanks Dom and Liz for a great holiday - something for both of us. Pilgrimage to Lourdes, great views, gentle walks, challenging walks - Pic de Montaigu and Breche de Roland from Gavarnie (thanks Dom) - A Tip - days in the hills here are long and hard (especially when hot) compared with the UK. The gite was just right, a very comfortable bed and British TV! The setting wants you to stay around all day by the pool and watch birds. So much still to do - we will be back."
"Wonderful hosts, delightful gite, amazing location, fabulous wildlife and gorgeous weather. All in all a fantastic introduction to the Pyrenees. We would recommend the walk from Ouzous to the Pic de Pibeste, which we first did with the local guide, to see the vultures."
