Fine dining restaurant, Adam Simmonds at Danesfield House, has been awarded a fantastic 8 out of 10 and is placed 13th Top UK Restaurant in the highly acclaimed Good Food Guide 2011. This truly is a remarkable achievement for Adam and Danesfield House; it is clear to see how Adam continues to improve - last year he was placed 19th in the UK with a score of 7 out of 10. With only 15 Resturants being awarded 8 out of 10, Adam is is superb company with the likes of Le Manoir, Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester and Marcus Wareing at the Berkeley.
FC Barcelona chooses Danesfield House as their
pre-season training camp - July 2009
Danesfield House Hotel and Spa is proud to have been selected by Champions League Winners FC Barcelona as their pre season training camp in July 2009. The Vice President of the club, Rafael Juste, presented the hotel with a commemorative plaque along with Victor Valdez and Bojan Krkic and congratulated the hotel on its high levels of service and excellent hospitality. The Club were in Enland to play a landmark two day pre season competition - The Wembley Cup. This new pre season cup has been created by IMG, the premier global sports and media group, and is set to become an annual fixture in the sporting calendar. Danesfield was delighted to welcome some of today's finest football talents including Lionel Messi and Thierry Henry.
