Quickfit mounting is recommended with integral cable versions of sensors. Even with armoured cable anchored to the machine it allows the sensor to be connected or disconnected with less than one full turn. This makes it very convenient if the machine needs to be dismantled for maintenance. A wide variety of adaptors is available with glue, metric or imperial threads.
Where a threaded adapter is inappropriate, perhaps because the machine surface is too thin to take the stud, the sensor may be fixed with an industrial adhesive
If you need to monitor vibrations from various points on your machine a magnetic adapter is possibly your best solution.
A two-pole adapter allows you to attach to slightly curved surfaces.
