All boilers are installed by our own in-house corgi registered gas technicians.
All new condensing boilers fitted by us have a band 'A' energy rating, providing over 90% efficiency. This means a saving of up to 40% of your gas bill compared to your old boiler and its better for the environment too by retaining the heat it helps burn less gas and reduce co emissions.

Most manufacturers make each of their boilers in a range of heating outputs, typically from 12 to 40kW, which are suitable for different households. This energy value is based on the maximum energy the boiler can convert to heat your water.
The smaller your home, the fewer kW you need. A boiler producing less than 38kW is fine for most houses and flats, but each home has different needs.
This decision needs to take into account:
The Sedbuk label is the boiler equivalent of the energy label found on domestic appliances such as washing machines, fridges and dishwashers.
Sedbuk stands for Seasonal Efficiency of a Domestic Boiler in the UK, and has lettered ratings from A to G.
The rating represents the average annual efficiency achieved in typical domestic conditions, making reasonable assumptions about how it's used, the climate, controls, and other influences.
It's calculated from the results of standard laboratory tests together with other important factors such as boiler type and the kind of fuel used.
This index, which was developed under the UK Government's Energy Efficiency Best Practice Programme with the help of boiler manufacturers, enables you to compare different models of boiler fairly.
Each letter rating represents a range of percentage efficiencies with A (efficiency of more than 90%) being the best and G (efficiency of less than 70%) being the worst. Conventional boiler are around 66-81% efficient, while condensing boilers are between 85% and 91% efficient.
New building regulations require that only gas boilers with Sedbuk A and B ratings can be installed unless it's too difficult or expensive, in which case an exception procedure must be completed and certified.
These regulations came into effect on 1 April 2005 in England and Wales, in Northern Ireland from November 2006 and in Scotland from May 2007.
With rare exception, all new boilers are now 'condensing'. Condensing boilers are far more energy-efficient than traditional boilers, as they make use of the heat that would otherwise be wasted.
Heat from traditional boilers disappears via the flue. But condensing boilers can extract more of the heat from these flue gases, making the boiler far more efficient.
Read our table below to find out how a modern condensing boiler could cut your fuel bills.

There are 3 types of high- efficiency condensing boiler – combi, system and regular (which is also often referred to as a ‘traditional’or ‘conventional’boiler.
The high efficiency condensing combi (or combination) boiler is a ingenious space- saving idea, and a increasingly popular choice in U.K homes. In fact, combis now account for well over half of all the new domestic boilers installed in Britain every year.
The Major difference between a combi and any other type of boiler is that a combi eliminates the need to store hot water – so no hot water cylinder in the airing cupboard. It is both a high efficiency water heater and central heating boiler, combined (hence the name) within one compact unit which usually sits in the kitchen or utility room, or sometimes in the airing cupboard. The space savings result from the fact there is no hot water storage cylinder, cold water storage cistern or other familiar components of a regular (conventional) heating system.
The further benefits of this are a significant saving on hot water costs, and the fact that hot water is delivered through your taps or shower at mains pressure. So you can enjoy power showering without the need for a pump. Another combi benefit is that it can generally save you money on installation time and costs – no tanks in the roof space means less pipework and a shorter installation time.
