The APRO Rugged Industrial PCMCIA ATA Flash Cards combine advanced ATA Flash controller technology and NAND Type SLC flash memory. It follows ATAPI-5 specification and features high speed data transfer in UDMA-4 mode (128MB~8GB) and optional for PIO mode. It supports capacities of 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and 8GB.

The operation temperature supports commercial grade (-40ºC ~ 85ºC) to fulfill various specialized applications in normal operating environments.  APRO PCMCIA ATA Flash Cards are more robust than conventional hard disk drives and consume around 10% of the power required by small disk drives. Normally PCMCIA ATA Flash Cards are used with Handheld PCs, PDAs, Digital Cameras, Laptops and Desktop PCs as data storages devices.

When a PCMCIA ATA Flash Card is inserted into an IDE adapter and IDE card reader, it performs like a traditional disk drive. APRO Industrial PCMCIA ATA Flash Cards offer the ideal solution for critical applications requiring a long term supply using consistent components.  It supports Removable (Defaulted) or Fixed Disk Mode.
